Bangabhaban denies getting letter

The president’s office has denied receiving any letter from Justice AHM Shamsuddin Choudhury seeking the impeachment of Chief Justice SK Sinha. Several private television channels ran scrolls and reports on Sunday afternoon on the purported letter. The reports said Appellate Division Justice Choudhury sought the chief justice’s removal alleging he had violated the Constitution and his oath. When approached, president’s Press Secretary Muhammad Joynal Abedin said on Sunday that the Bangabhaban had not received any such letter, according to bdnews24.com.
