Bangla SMS Service in all mobile phones by next 21st Feb

All mobile phone users in the country will get Bangla SMS service by February 21, 2012, reports BSS. Project Director of Access to Information (A2I) and Private Secretary to the Prime Minister Nazrul Islam Khan said this while addressing a meeting on E-service at Magura Asaduzzaman auditorium Friday. Nazrul Islam Khan said that the present government is working with all devotion to reach various E-services to the grassroots level through E-information centres. He said time is not far away when people will get all kinds of information sitting in their own houses. He said A2I wing of the government is continuing discussion with all mobile phone companies of the country and has given necessary instruction to the operators to provide facilities to conduct E-service within the specific time. Shusanta Kumar Shaha, DC Magura presided over the meeting which was addressed among others by advocate Biren Sikder MP, and Mustafizur Rahman, secretary, National Access to Information Project. Officials of the government and non-government organisations, teachers, lawyers and prominent persons, were present at the meeting.
