Bangla Vision, Ajker Kagoj advance to final

Bangla Vision and Ajker Kagoj advanced to the final of the Meril Media Cup Football winning their respective semi-final matches at the Bangabandhu National Stadium (BNS) in the city Tuesday, reports UNB.
The two teams will play the final on Thursday at 10:00 am at the BNS.
Earlier, losing semi-finalists UNB and New Nation will meet in a place-deciding match at 9:00 am at the same venue.
Acting Secretary General of Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) Kutub Uddin Ahmed will be present in the final as chief guest.
Senior Vice President of Bangladesh Football Federation Monir Ahmed, Bangladesh Kho Kho Federation General Secretary Kazi Razib Uddin Ahmed Chapal and Head of Marketing of sponsors Square Toiletries Malik Mohammad Saeed will be present as special guests.
In the day's first semi-final, Bangla Vision beat UNB by 3-2 goals in tiebreaker after the stipulated time and extra session ended goal-less. Bangla Vision keeper Kazi Sabbir was adjudged man of the match.
In the other semis, Ajker Kagoj defeated New Nation by 2-0 goals with man of the match Barik Anjam and Bellal Hossain scoring for the English daily.
