Bangladesh A team took overall lead of 76 runs against visiting Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) on the third day of the second four-day match at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium at Mirpur in Dhaka Friday, reports UNB.
Beginning their second innings in the afternoon, the home side scored 18 for no loss in 7 overs at stumps with openers Imrul Kayes and Nafees Iqbal remaining unbeaten on 13 and 3 runs respectively.
Earlier, resuming the day with overnight 60 for 2 in 28 overs, the visitors were finally all out for 299 runs in 116.2 overs, in reply to Bangladesh A first innings total of 357 runs for all.
Nightwatch batsman Sangram Attitkar scored 52 runs off 124 balls with seven fours, two down Kedar Jadhav made 40 off 101 balls with seven fours while tail-ender Kiran Yadav added 65 runs off 116 balls with eight fours and a six.
Ankit Bawne (36), Rohit Motwani (26) and Shrikant Mundhe (21) were the other notable scorers for MCA.
Enamul Huq and Suhrawardy Shuvo claimed four wickets each for 87 and 89 runs respectively while Nazmul Hossain and Dollar Mahmud took one wicket apiece for 15 and 34 runs.
