Bangladesh A team concede defeat against Ireland

Touring Bangladesh A team conceded a 82-run defeat against hosts Ireland A team in a Twenty20 match at the Eglington Cricket Club ground Friday, reports UNB.
Batting first, hosts Ireland scored a moderate 161 for 6 in 20 overs with number four batsman A Botha contributing 62 off 41 deliveries featuring two fours and two sixes.
R Strydom (30), T Johnson (21), P Stirling (20) and A White (10) were the other notable scorer for the home side.
Naeem Islam was the successful among Bangladesh's bowlers claiming three wickets for 33 runs while Arafat Sunny, Nazmul Hossain and Mahbubul Alam Robin took one wicket each.
In reply, Bangladesh A team were bundled out for 79 runs in 16.1 overs. Only three Bangladeshi batsmen -- Naeem Islam (22), wicket keeper Dhiman Ghosh (20) and skipper Junaid Siddiqui (13) -- reached the double figures.
K McCallan grabbed three wickets for seven runs while A Botha, T Fourie, T Johnson and A Cusack took one wicket each.
The second string Bangladesh team, which made a draw in the three-day match with their Irish counterpart Wednesday, will play a one-day match against the same opponent today (Sunday) at Bangor.
The tourists will wrap up their Ireland campaign with another 50-over match against Ireland A team at Stormont on July 1.
Bangladesh team will move towards England on July 3 to play five three-day and three one-day matches before returning home on August 4.
Bangladesh A side will play England Under-19's in the first three-day match (July 6-8), the 2nd three-day match against Warwickshire (July 11-13), the 3rd three-day match against Leicestershire (July 16-18), the 4th three-day match against Derbyshire (July 21-23) and the last three-day match against South Africans (July 25-27).
Bangladesh will also play three one-day matches against Lancashire (July 30), Marylebone Cricket Club (August 1) and Durham (August 3).
