Bangladesh Ansar emerge champions

Bangladesh Ansar emerged champions in the Pepsi National Women's Volleyball Competition for the 4th time beating Pabna DSA 25-17, 18-25, 25-17, 25-17 in the final at the Volleyball Stadium in the city Monday, reports UNB.
Rajshahi DSA finished 3rd beating Gazipur DSA 25-13, 25-13, 25-4 in the place-deciding match.
Priti and Nipa of Pabna DSA were respectively adjudged the best defender and the best center of the competition. Farhana of Rajshahi DSA was named the best attacker of the meet.
After the final match, former Army Chief Lt Gen (retd) Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman distributed the trophies as the chief guest.
