Bangladesh beat Singapore 3-1 in tiebreaker

Bangladesh Under-21 Hockey team beat Singapore by 3-1 goals in tiebreaker in a place-deciding match of the 6th Men's Junior Asia Cup Hockey in Hyderabad, India Wednesday, reports UNB.
The match rolled into tiebreaker after the stipulated time ended goalless this Wednesday afternoon.
Bangladesh national hockey team also played to a 1-1 draw with Singapore on way to clinching the AHF Cup title with unbeaten run in Singapore last month.
In the 5th place-deciding match today (Thursday), Bangladesh will play Malaysia at 7:30 pm (Indian time) to fulfill their dream of finishing 5th in the Asian junior meet.
Earlier, in Group B matches, Bangladesh suffered a humiliating 0-8 goals defeat against South Korea and conceded 2-8 goals defeat against Pakistan after beating Oman by 7-1 goals.
