Bangladesh beat Uzbekistan for second straight win in AHF Cup

Bangladesh's junior women's hockey team continued their impressive run in the Women's Junior AHF Cup with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Uzbekistan in Muscat, Oman, on Monday night, reports BSS.
After a goalless first three quarters, Ema Nadira broke the deadlock in the 50th minute, scoring the decisive field goal to seal Bangladesh's second consecutive win in the tournament.
Bangladesh's Rishi Riyasa was named Player of the Match for her outstanding performance.
Bangladesh will play their next match against Pakistan on Thursday.
The team had earlier made a flying start to the tournament by defeating Hong Kong China 6-0 in their opening match.
The Women's Junior AHF Cup features Bangladesh, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Hong Kong China in a round-robin league format.
The team finishing at the top of the standings at the end of the competition will be crowned champions.
