Bangladesh Boys Club and Police AC won their respective matches of the Metropolis Second Division Football League at separate venues in the city Sunday, reports UNB.
Police AC beat Karwanbazar Pragati Songho by a solitary goal scored by Al Amin in the 73rd minute at the Bir Shreshtho Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium at Kamalapur.
At the Banani Army Stadium, Bangladesh Boys Club also secured a 1-0 victory over Kodomtola Songsod. Alam Nabi scored the all-important goal for the winners in the 64th minute.
Today's matches: Prantik KC vs Basabo Tarun Songho at Kamalapur Stadium and T&T Club Motijheel vs Sadharan Bima KS at Army Stadium.
