Bangladesh Boys' Club earned a 3-1 victory over Friends Social Welfare Organisation in a match of the Metropolis Second Division Football League at the Bir Shreshtho Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium at Kamalapur in the city Friday, reports UNB.
Shafiqul, Alam Nabi and Nayan scored one goal each for the winners while Javed netted the lone goal for the losers.
In another match, Prantik KC beat Euro Famous, also by 3-1 goals, at the same venue in the afternoon.
Sabuj struck twice and Riyad scored one goal for the winners while Rubel netted the only goal for the losers.
The day's other match between Gazirchar SC and Basabo Tarun Sangha ended in goalless draw at the same venue.
League champions Uttar Baridhara Club will play their last league match against Sadharan Bima KS, while Dhanmondi Club meet East End Club today (Saturday) at the same venue.
