Bangladesh calls back its envoy from Lebanon

Bangladesh Ambassador to Lebanon AFM Gousal Azam Sarker has been asked to return home immediately, a foreign ministry source said on Saturday. In its July 17 letter to recall the ambassador the foreign ministry gave no reason. Azam has been called back amid speculation that he was not on good term with another official at the mission, according to UNB.
