Bangladesh called for restraints asking all to avoid 'provocative acts' in Korean peninsula as North Korea today staged an artillery drill within earshot of a South Korean island and warned an upcoming US-South Korean naval exercise heightened the war risks, reports BSS.
"Bangladesh urges all sides involved to exercise utmost restraint for maintaining peace and stability in the Korean peninsula and the region at large," a foreign office spokesman said when approached for comments on recent tension sparked in the region.
He added that Dhaka thought "any act of provocation is condemnable and should be avoided".
