Bangladesh draw with Vietnam

Bangladesh held a 2-2 draw with Vietnam Monday in their last group B match of the traditional Merdeka Cup Football tournament at the Shah Alam Stadium in Kuala Lumpur, reports UNB.
Monday's match was a mere formality as Bangladesh is already out of the tournament after losing their two previous matches.
Striker Zahid Hasan Emily and Zahid Hossain scored one goal each for Bangladesh in the 35th and 50th minutes respectively. Bangladesh, however, conceded two goals by Vietnam in the 4th and 60th minute play of the match.
Earlier, Bangladesh lost their group opening match against top favourite Mozambique Thursday, and again conceded defeat to Myanmar in the second match Saturday, both by identical 1-0 margin at the same venue.
