Bangladesh envoy to UAE presents his credentials

Bangladesh Ambassador to United Arab Emirates Md Nazmul Quaunine Monday presented his credentials to President of United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan at his official residence Al Bateen Palace, reports UNB.
During the ceremony, the Ambassador conveyed the greetings of
President Prof. Dr Iajuddin Ahmed and Chief Adviser Dr Fakhruddin
Ahmed and on their behalf extended an invitation to the President of UAE to visit Bangladesh, said an official release today.
He particularly highlighted the presence of over half a million Bangladeshi workers who are contributing to the development of the UAE.
Ambassador Quaunine sought the UAE President's support for more co-operation between the two countries particularly in the areas of Bangladeshi workers' employment in the UAE and investment from the UAE in Bangladesh.
The Foreign Minister, Deputy Foreign Minster and the under Secretary were present in the ceremony.
