Bangladesh face Sri Lanka A in 3-day warm up match today

Visiting Bangladesh national cricket team begins their Sri Lanka campaign today (Wednesday) with a three-day warm up match when they take on Sri Lanka A at the Colts Cricket Club Ground in Colombo, reports UNB.
After the last month's home series against India, this will be the first match for the Tigers overseas before taking on the Lankan Lions for a three-match test series to be followed by a three-match ODI series.
Ahead of the warm up match, Bangladesh have decided to rest fast bowler and vice-captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, left-arm spinner Mohammed Rafique and opener Mehrab Hossain jnr.
The Tigers went through a tough three-hour practice session Tuesday from 9 am to 1 pm simultaneously at the nets and in fielding. Later, they had some swimming at their hotel pool.
Bangladesh will play the first test against the current World Cup runners-up on June 25-29 at the Sinhalese Sports Club Ground (Colombo). The 2nd test match between the two sides will be held July 3-7 at the P Saravanamuttu Stadium (Colombo) and the 3rd test July 11-15 at the Asgiriya Stadium (Kandy).
After playing a one-day warm up match against Sri Lanka A on July 18 at the Nondescripts Cricket Club Ground (Colombo), Bangladesh will play the first ODI against their counterparts on July 20 at the P Saravanamuttu Stadium (Colombo).
Then they will play the 2nd and the 3rd ODI at the R Premadasa Stadium (Colombo) on July 22 and 24.

Mohammad Ashraful (Captain), Shahriar Nafees Ahmed, Javed Omar Belim, Habibul Bashar, Shakib Al Hasan, Rajin Saleh, Khaled Mashud, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mohammad Sharif, Abdur Razzak, Shahadat Hossain Rajib and Syed Rasel.
