Bangladesh follow on

Sunday, 14 June 2015

Bangladesh lost seven wickets in just over a session’s play as India enforced follow on after a monsoon-drenched start to the final day of the one-off Test against India in Fatullah. Ravichandran Ashwin’s talismanic off-spin pulverized the Bangladesh batting leaving the tall spinner with a five-wicket haul.
Ashwin returned 5 for 87 in 25 overs. The hosts were bundled out for 256 after the tea break following a first session washout at the Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium on Sunday. Imrul Kayes topscored for the hosts with 72 while Soumya Sarkar (37) and Liton Kumar Das (44) put up some resistance in the middle order but the hosts lost wickets regularly. They still trail India by 206 runs. Harbhajan Singh bagged three wickets on his return to the side. Overnight shower and wet ground had washed out the entire first session. After the morning drizzle stopped, the umpires inspected the ground and decided to resume play at 12:45pm local time, provided there was no more rain. Bangladesh started on 111 for three trailing India’s 462 for six, according to bdnews24.com.
