Bangladesh HP suffer defeat to Pakistan Shaheens

Bangladesh High Performance (HP) suffered an eight-wicket defeat to Pakistan Shaheens in their Australia tour after their team batters came up with an insipid batting display in Darwin on Tuesday, reports BSS.
The HP team earlier beat Australia's domestic team Northern Territory in the one-day series of the three teams with Pakistan Shaheens the other one.
Put into bat first, Bangladesh HP were bundled out for just 78 in 24.3 overs which Shaheens overhauled with 33 overs to spare.
The rot began when opener Tanzid Hasan Tamim was removed for 4 and then his fellow opener Jishan Alam followed him after being out with duck.
Akbar Ali made just 1 before Parvez Hossain Emon came up with some resistance. But after scoring team-best 19, he was dismissed, leaving the side four down for 32 runs.
Shamim Patwari added 13 while Mahfuzur Rahman Rabbi scored 12 but no one could prolong their innings, which eventually forced HP to be all out below 100. Imran Junior claimed 3-22 to wreck havoc on Bangladesh HP.
The HP, however, made a good start with the bowling as they removed Pakistan opener Shahibzada Farhan for naught and followed it with the wicket of Abdul Fasih who made 12.
But Usman Khan and Tayyab Tahir sailed the side home without further fuss. Khan was unbeaten on 39 while Tahir was on 17.
Ripon Mondol took both of the fallen wickets of Pakistan Shaheens.
