Bangladesh-India Test stalled for rain

Thursday, 11 June 2015

Heavy rain and strong winds stalled the second day’s play in the Bangladesh-India one-off Test on Thursday. Downpour forced the staff at the Khan Saheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah of Narayanganj to retain covers on the field and pitch. Both the visiting Indian Test cricket team and the home team were at their respective hotels in Dhaka and did not even start off for the stadium in Narayanganj city. The first session of the lone Test on Wednesday was also hampered by shower. India had scored 239 without losing a wicket at close of play, according to a news agency.
