Bangladesh Infrastructure Finance Fund Limited (BIFFL) hosted its 12th annual general meeting (AGM) on a virtual meeting platform recently. Fatima Yasmin, chairman of BIFFL and senior secretary to the Finance Division, Ministry of Finance, presided over the AGM. In the meeting, the shareholders approved the audited financial statements for the financial year 2022 and approved a cash dividend of Tk 279.6 million (27.96 crore) in favour of the government of Bangladesh as the shareholder of BIFFL. In 2022, the company earned a total revenue of Tk 2.3 billion (230.67 crore) and made a profit after tax of Tk 0.76 billion (76.14 crore).
