Bangladesh look forward to good start against Indonesia today

Bangladesh national women football team is looking forward to make a good start as they will face upper ranked Indonesia in the first match of tri-nation International FIFA friendly series scheduled to be held at King Abdullah II Stadium in Amman, Jordan today (Saturday), reports BSS.
The match will kick off at 8 pm (Bangladesh time) Prior to the first match Bangladesh skipper Afeida Khandaker through a audio message on Friday said, "We have come here in a few days ago to accustom ourselves with the local weather and taking preparation as per the instruction of our coach ....we are expecting a good result against Indonesia in our first match."
Terming her team a strong one in the series, the Bangladesh captain said the present team has been formed with the combination of senior and junior players compared to their last team which toured in Dubai and she hoped the her girls would able to fulfill all expectation in the series.
Bangladesh women's football team manager Mahmuda Akter said the girls completed their training and all are sound and fit she hoped that the girls would be able to snatch full three points against Indonesia. She said the day's training session was good and the bonding of the team was also satisfactory and hoped to go back home with good result.
"We didn't have many senior players in our last tour in Dubai but now we have many senior players in the team along with junior players and we hope they will be able to bring something good from the field," concluded the team manager.
Bangladesh will play their second match against host Jordan on July 03. Both teams are ahead of Bangladesh in terms of paper and pen. Bangladesh is participating in this series as part of their preparations for the upcoming AFC Women's Asian Cup Qualifiers, where they will face Myanmar, Bahrain and Turkmenistan.
Bangladesh Squad: Goalkeepers: Rupna Chakma, Meghla Rani and Ferdousi Akter Shonale.
Defenders: Sheuli Azim, Shamsunnahar Sr, Afeida Khandaker (Captain) and Joynab Bibi Rita.
Midfielders: Monika Chakma, Maria Manda, Munki Akter, Sapna Rani, Kohati Kisku, Halima Akter and Shanti Mardi.
Forwards: Ritu Porna Chakma, Tohura Khatun, Shamsunnahar Jr, Mosammat Sagorika, Shaheda Akter Ripa, Sauravi Akonda Prity, Mosammat Sultana, Nobirun Khatun and Umehla Marma.
