Bangladesh lose openers

Bangladesh, chasing 255 for victory against Afghanistan, lost their openers within the first two overs in their Asia Cup match at the Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah on Saturday. Shapoor Zadran’s length delivery sneaked through Shamsur Rahman’s defence in the fifth delivery of the first over with just one run on board. Hamid Hassan consolidated the Afghan’s good start sending back Anamul Haque lbw for one in the second over. Mushfiqur Rahman (17) and Mominul Haque (33) were trying to steady the ship with the score on 53-2 after 13 overs, according to a news agency.
