Bangladesh, Madhya Pradesh play draw in 1st 4-dayer

Bangladesh U-19 team played to a draw against Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) Under-19 team of India on the fourth and final day of their first four-day match at Fatullah Outer Stadium in Fatullah Sunday, reports UNB.
Resuming the 1st innings on the final day (Sunday) with overnight 192 for 3 in 85 overs, Bangladesh declared the innings at 352 for 6 in 132 overs.
Night watch man Zakir Hasan (64) hit a century scoring 110 runs off 290 balls with nine fours and a six.
Zakir pairing with Mehedi Hasan Miraz in the 4th wicket stand contributed 177 runs in 74.2 overs before Mehedi was caught by Salman Khan off Rahul Batham, with team total at 244/4 in 94.5 overs.
Another night watch batsman Mehedi Hasan Miraz (75) scored 88 runs off 212 balls with six fours and two sixes. Md Saifuddin scored unbeaten 64 runs off 127 balls with 10 fours while Sanjib Saha added not out 18 runs.
Rahul Batham and Ashwin Das took two wickets each in the first innings for 68 and 80 runs respectively.
The visiting Madhya Pradesh CA (321 runs in 1st innings) opened their 2nd innings and scored 65 for 3 in 27 overs at stumps on the fourth and final day.
Nitish Lashkari scored not out 20 while Krishna Soni (15), Siddharth Patidar (not out 13) and Salman Khan (13) were the other scorers for MPCA.
Sanjib Saha, and Nahid Hasan took one wicket each for 10, 17 and 22 runs respectively.
Earlier, the two sides played another draw in their three-day match (May 25-27).
The 2nd four-day match between Bangladesh and MPCA will begin on June 4 (Wednesday) at BKSP ground-3 in Savar.
