Bangladesh make a flying start beating Sri Lanka by 3-0 goals

Last times runners-up Bangladesh made a flying start in the SAFF Under-18 Championship'2019 beating Sri Lanka by 3-0 goals in their first Group B match at APF Stadium in Kathmandu on Saturday, reports UNB.
Tanbir Hossain, Foysal Ahmed Fahim and Fahim Morshed scored one goal each for Bangladesh.
Defender Tanbir Hossain opened Bangladesh's account in the very first minute with a header (1-0).
Bangladesh maintained their 1-0 lead till 76th minute before the midfielder Fahim Morshed doubled the margin in the 77th minute by a long range shot outside the box (2-0).
In the 86th minute, forward Foysal Ahmed Fahim sealed the fate of the match for Bangladesh scoring the 3rd goal by a ground shot inside from the box (3-0).
SAFF runners-up Bangladesh team put in the three-team Group B along with India and Sri Lanka while Group A comprises of defending champions and hosts Nepal, Maldives, Bhutan and Pakistan.
In the remaining group match, Bangladesh team will play their giant neighbour India on September 25.
Top two teams from each group will play semifinals on September 27 while the final match will be held on September 29 at APF Stadium.
