Bangladesh one of the most vital partners of Korea: Lee Yun-young

Bangladesh is one of the “most vital” partners of Korea in this region, Ambassador Lee Yun-young has said.
He said Seoul was focused on increasing bilateral cooperation in trade, investment, development cooperation, education and cultural exchanges with Dhaka for “better mutual benefit”.
The Korean envoy in Dhaka was speaking at the annual gathering of the KOICA Bangladesh Alumni Association (KBAA) Thursday night, according to a news agency.
Korea’s development arm KOICA organised the alumni night bringing together the government officials, justices of the Supreme Court who had been in Korea in different training programmes.
KOICA said their alumni currently reached up to 1,700.
Bhutanese Ambassador in Dhaka Pema Choden, KOICA Resident Representative Kim Bok-Hee, President of KBAA Monzur Hossain, also Senior Secretary of the LGRD ministry, were present, among others, in the annual celebration.
