Bangladesh-origin mother jailed in UK

A Bangladeshi-origin Muslim mother has been jailed by a London court for more than five years for promoting terrorism on Facebook.
Runa Khan, a mother of six from Luton, north of London, admitted to four counts of distributing terrorist publications via the social network site, the BBC says.
She was born in Sylhet, in eastern Bangladesh, and used to work for a real estate company until she was fired several years ago, bdnews24.com London Correspondent Syed Nahas Pasha says.
The 35-year old had posted an image of a suicide vest on Facebook in 2013 with the words "...sacrificing your life to benefit Islam", Reuters reported.
She called on fellow Muslim women to urge their male relatives to fight.
British daily ‘The Independent’ reported on its website that Khan had praised an article, titled “Raising Mujahid Children” which Judge Peter Birts found essentially “a manual in encouraging women to carry out jihad”.
