Bangladesh play hosts S'pore today

Bangladesh national hockey team will play hosts Singapore today (Wednesday) in the third Pool A of the 3rd Men's AHF Cup Hockey Championship at 5pm (BST).
Dominating the Pool A with all-win record, beating Brunei Darussalam 6-1 and Chinese Taipei 3-2 in their first two engagements Bangladesh will meet Uzbekistan in the last group match on Thursday.
Earlier, Bangladesh have been placed in Pool A of the qualifying round of the Asia Cup Hockey with hosts Singapore, Chinese Taipei, Uzbekistan and Brunei Darussalam while Pool B team comprises Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, Oman and Thailand.
Four top finishers of the nine-team fray will qualify for the 10-team Asia Cup Hockey along with six seeded nations - India, Pakistan, South Korea, China, Malaysia and Japan.
