Bangladesh signed a MoU with the United States

Bangladesh has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the United States to import wheat aiming to ensure its overall food security, nutrition and food supply. Md Abul Hasanat Humayun Kabir, Director General of the Food Department, and Joseph K Sower, Vice President of the US Wheat Association, signed the agreement at the food ministry on Sunday. Food Adviser Ali Imam Majumder was present at the signing ceremony. — PID
