Bangladesh students to join Global Youth Summit

Shihab Khan (16) and Rakiba Rayhana (16) of Maple Leaf International School have been selected to attend the Global Youth Summit to be held in London between November 21 and November 27, said a press release.
The two students from Bangladesh will be among the 60 selected from over 1000 participants from all over the world and will spend a week sharing best practices in the areas of human rights, climate change, poverty reduction, education and social entrepreneurship.
They will work together with experts and young social activists on how to address the issues they are facing in their home country.
The Global Youth Summit is a part of the British Council Global Changemakers' initiative. The Global Changemakers is managed by British Council, Switzerland, the release added.
