Bangladesh suffer 3-0 defeat to Vietnam

Bangladesh endured a heavy 3-0 defeat to Vietnam in a FIFA international friendly held at Hàng ??y Stadium in Hanoi on Thursday, report agencies.
Ranked 103rd in the FIFA rankings, Vietnam proved far superior to Bangladesh, who are placed 181st-78 places behind. The gap in quality was evident from the outset, as the hosts dominated proceedings and sealed the match in the first half.
Coached by Javier Cabrera, Bangladesh fielded a strong lineup featuring key players such as Hamza Choudhury and Jamal Bhuyan. However, despite the presence of several star footballers, the visitors struggled to cope with Vietnam's intensity and attacking prowess.
Vietnam took the lead in just the 8th minute following a defensive error.
Left-back Zayan Ahmed failed to clear a corner properly, and the ball deflected into the net. The hosts doubled their lead in the 18th minute through Pham Xuan Manh.
