Bangladesh suffer third consecutive defeat

Bangladesh Women's Handball team suffered 3rd consecutive defeat in the 8th Asian Women's Youth Handball Championship losing to Chinese Taipei by 16-33 goals in their match in the Indian city of Jaipur on Sunday, reports UNB.
They were trailing by 9-17 goals in the first half.
Bangladesh, which put in tough Group A in the 10-team meet along with defending champions South Korea, runners-up Japan, Uzbekistan and Chinese Taipei, made a frustrating start losing to holders South Korea by 16-55 goals on Wednesday and conceded 9-45 goals defeat to Japan on Friday.
In the remaining group match, Bangladesh will play Uzbekistan today (Monday) at the same venue. The Group B comprises of hosts India, PR China, Kazakhstan, Nepal and Mongolia.
A 19-member Bangladesh Handball team comprises of 14 players and five officials left Dhaka for Joypur last Monday to make a good show in their maiden Asian Women's Youth Handball Championship.
