Bangladesh team leave for Australia

Bangladesh national cricket team leaves Dhaka for Australia early hours of Thursday to play three-match ODI series against the world champions, reports UNB.
Top order batsman Nazimuddin has been included in the 15-member squad in place of Shahriar Nafees who Tuesday opted out of the tour due to his university examinations.
Mohammad Ashraful will lead the Bangladesh team, while pace spearhead Mashrafe Bin Mortaza will act as his deputy.
Before playing the ODIs, the tourists will play five one-day practice matches against Australian Institute of Sports and Northern Territory Chief Minister's XI.
The first four one-day practice matches against Australian Institute of Sports are slated for August 18, 20, 23 and 25 at the Gardens Oval in Darwin. The 5th one-day practice match against Northern Territory Chief Minister's XI will be held on Aug 27, also at the Garden's Oval.
Later, the three ODI matches between Bangladesh and Australia will be held on August 30, September 3 and 6 at the TIO Stadium in Darwin.
On completion of their 25-day tour, the Tigers are scheduled to return home on September 7.
