Bangladesh Thai Alum celebrates completion of 30th year

Bangladesh Thai Aluminium Ltd celebrated completion of thirtieth year of industrial activity and contribution in the growth of the national economy and forest preservation in a city hotel recently.
The occasion was graced by Lt. Colonel (Rtd) Faruk Khan, MP, Minister of Commerce as the chief guest.
Mr. Nasrul Hamid, MP and President of REHAB. Engr. Enamul Haque, MP and Dr M Shahidul Ameen, Proessor of the Department of Architecture, BUET were special guests. The function was attended by a large section of the renowned engineers, architects and builders of the country and participated in the discussion.
The Management of the company highlighted the important role of the company in preservation of forests and growth of national economy since 1979 as the first ever industry of the country in Aluminium sector established by (Late) Alhaj Col A Maleque psc.
BTA Ltd. introduced Bangladesh to the aluminium world for the first time and pioneered a growth in this sector that began to change the skyline of the city radically. By 1990, the use of aluminium expanded and BTA set up the first Extrusion, Anodization Plant with top of the line American Machinery, which set the company on to a firm footing.
With progress in business BTA added to their facility Die Manufacturing Plant, Billet Casting Plant, Powder Coating Plant as backward and forward linkage. Their activity, quality of products earned for them the Brand Name of "Thai Aluminium" and people forget the technical name of simple "Aluminium".
