Bangladesh to take part in AFC U-16 Championship

Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) finally decided to sent the Under-16 to the AFC Under-16 Championship scheduled for October 3-18 in the Philippines, reports UNB.
The preparatory camp suspended following uncertainty to participate in the meet will now resume under the supervision of coach Jobayer Nipu in Dhaka tomorrow (Friday).
BFF had no intention to send the team due lack of finance. That would deprive the young players to gain experience of an regional meet.
Considering this, BFF General Secretary Al Musabbir Sadi said they have finally decided to take part in the championship. BFF is to spent Tk 3 million (30 lakh) to send the U-16 team to the Philippines.
