Bangladesh to take part in Nehru Cup soccer

Bangladesh's Under-23 team will participate in the Indian Nehru Cup Football tournament to be held in New Delhi from August 16 to 28, reports UNB.
The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) has already sent the entry to participate in the Indian traditional soccer meet.
A total of six teams, split into two groups, are likely to compete in the tourney, named after former Indian Prime Minister Nehru.
In another report, Bangladesh is going to take part in the 7th Asia Cup Hockey Tournament to be held from September 1 to 9 in Chennai, India.
Bangladesh Hockey Federation Joint Secretary Khwaja Rahmat Ullah told the UNB Monday that they would begin the preliminary camp for the tournament with the players, who represented Bangladesh in the last
Asian Games, and from the ensuing national championship that will begin on June 20.
