Bangladesh trade fair opens in New York

NEW YORK, Oct 18: A three-day first-ever "Made In Bangladesh Trade Fair" began at the Pan Plaza pavilion exhibition hall at downtown Manhattan Friday evening. Bangladesh ambassador to the United States Humayun Kabir formally inaugurated the fair while Consul General M Shamsul Haque was the special guest. A total of 34 Bangladeshi companies dealing with readymade garments, leather products, handicrafts, boutique and jute goods are participating in the fair.
