Bangladesh U-19 team return home today

A victorious Bangladesh U-19 team returns home from Karachi early today (Sunday) after a successful mission against the Pakistan Under-19 team, reports UNB.
During the hectic tour, the Bangladesh U-19 team drew the lone four-day match against the Pakistan U-19 team and staged spectacular come back from 0-2 down to beat their Pakistani counterparts 3-2 in the five-match one-day series.
Mahmudul Hasan was the most impressive among the Bangladesh U-19 batsmen in the one-day series as he scored highest 150 runs followed by Nasir Hossain with 149 runs, both playing all the five matches.
In bowling, spinner Suhrawardy Shuvo claimed highest 14 wickets in five matches while pacer Dollar Mahmud grabbed 9 in four matches.
In the lone four-day match, Rony Talukder contributed 160 runs with a century while Rubel Hossain claimed highest three wickets for the young Bangladesh side.
Earlier, the hosts took 2-0 lead in the five-match series outplaying their Bangladesh counterparts by huge 144 runs in the first match and by 79 runs in the 2nd.
Bangladesh U-19 team leveled the series 2-2 winning the 3rd one-day match by 24 runs and the 4th by 13 runs. They then beat the hosts by two wickets in the 5th one-dayer to clinch the series 3-2.
Pakistan Under 19 team won the last two editions (2004 & 2006) of the ICC U 19 Cricket World Cup.
