Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina says the party that failed to stop the last national elections is now trying to singe the country in frustration for its failure. ‘Bangladesh’s progress will continue. Bangladesh is moving forward and it will go much further,’ she told a gathering of expatriate Bangladeshis in London. The Prime Minister is on a three-day visit to the United Kingdom to attend the First Girls Summit. Addressing the leaders of the Bangladesh community living in London, Sheikh Hasina asked the expatriates to be aware of a ‘certain quarter’, which is conspiring against Bangladesh. Strikes, murders, arsons in buses and trains, burning of Quran, felling off trees, digging roads – the BNP-Jamaat did it all to stop the polls,’ she told the discussion at the Hilton Hotel. Earlier, the Bangladesh Prime Minister held talks with her British counterpart Dabvid Cameron at the 10 Downing Street. They discussed bilateral as well as several international issues, according to a news agency.
