Bangladesh win two more gold medals in Special Olympics

Bangladesh won two more gold medals in the Special Olympics World Summer Games (SOWSG) 2007 Tuesday now being held in Shanghai, reports UNB.
The athletes earned two gold medals, one in 100-metre sprint and the other in shot put, according to message received here from Special Olympic Federation. But the identity of the winners was not available immediately.
After the day's feat, Bangladesh earned eight golds, three silvers and one bronze medal.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh faces their giant neighbour India in the cricket final today (Wednesday).
Earlier on Friday, Swimmer Al Mahmud Bin Dipu clinched the first gold medal in the 50-metre freestyle group AQ50 event held at Shanghai Pudong Natatorium.
Dipu won the gold medal clocking 00:59.30 seconds.
Another swimmer Masud won the second silver for Bangladesh clocking 00:36.40.
