Bangladesh wins gold in Asian Archery Grand Prix Championship

Bangladeshi archer Mohammad Sajjad Hossain won the gold medal in the 4th Asian Archery Grand Prix Championship beating T Ranjpar, a world class archer of Iran, by 105-101 points in men's singles final in Kolkata on Saturday, reports UNB.
Bangladesh also maintained supremacy in the team events when Bangladeshi trio Noore Alam, Imdadul Haq Milon and Zia-Ul-Haq Zia won silver losing to Indian archers Rahul Banarjee, Jayanto Talukdar and Mangal Singh 209-220 points in the final.
Bangladesh Archery team is expected to return home Monday.
