Bangladeshi envoy in Japan awarded at Kurigram

KURIGRAM, Aug 01: Bangladeshi Ambassador in Japan and also a scholar of Chilmari Upazila in the district Major (retd) Ashraf-ud-Doula Taj was accorded special reception at Chilmari Upazila Degree College ground Wednesday.
Thana Hat Bonik Samity organised the function.
Major Taj as the chief guest said that those were fateful who could do something for the people.
Chaired by President of the samity Hafizur Rahman, the function was spoken, among others, by ADC (General) Mir Zohurul Islam, Chilmari Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Enamul Haque, local officer-in-charge (OC) Biman Chandra Karmakar, Principal of Chilmari Degree College Abul Kashem, Principal of Chilmari Women's College Fazlul Haque and a citizen of Switzerland Dominik Strainer.
The envoy was awarded a crest and a citation on behalf of Thanahat Bonik Samity.
