Bangladeshi food festival begins

A week-long traditional Bangladeshi food festival, titled 'Regency Bangla Food Festival arranged by Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation (BPC) in collaboration with the Dhaka Regency Hotel began Saturday.
The festival is a part of BPC's 'month-long tourism festival' on the occasion of ongoing 11th South Asian Games, 2010.
Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister GM Kader formally inaugurated the food festival as chief guest while Shafique Alam Mehdi, secretary for the Civil Aviation and Tourism Ministry attended as special guest on the occasion.
