Bangladeshi honoured in Malaysia*****

Md Aminul Islam, a Bangladeshi, who is currently assistant professor and chairman of the postgraduate studies programmes of the Business School at Universiti Malaysia Perlis, was accorded with the prestigious "Best Lecturer Award 2010".
Universiti Malaysia Perlis, a government university, had its annual service excellence award ceremony at the 'Dewan 2020' Perlis in Malaysia recently, said a press release.
This was an annual event to give away service excellence award to individuals for their extraordinary services on various categories.
The award was handed over by the Sultan of Perlis. He was given a crest, a wrist watch, a certificate and cash prize money.
Mr Aminul was also accorded with the "Raffles Education Founders' Award" for being the "Most Deserving Academic Staff of Olympia College Malaysia 2006".
Besides his academic position, he is the chief editor of the International Journal of Business and Technopreneurship which is published by the Universiti Malaysia Perlis.
Aminul Islam is the second son of late Alhaj Md Abu Bakar Mia of School Para, Ishurdi in Pabna.
