Bangladeshi painting exhibition in Pakistan begins Dec 5

A one month painting exhibition of Bangladeshi painters titled "Colours of Bangladesh" will begin at National Art Gallery in Islamabad on December 5, reports UNB.
Minister for Information and Broadcasting of Pakistan government Sherry Rehman is expected to inaugurate the exhibition, jointly organised by Bangladesh High Commission in Islamabad and Pakistan National Council of Arts (PNCA).
Four renowned Bangladeshi painters are also expected to attend the inaugural ceremony.
About one hundred paintings from 19 Bangladeshi artists will be displayed in the exhibition. The painters would also conduct four workshops on varied techniques of painting.
The students from Fine Arts Institutions in Islamabad, among others, will participate in it.
The cardinal object of holding the art workshops is to familiarise the students and art-loving people of Islamabad city with art and culture of Bangladesh.
