Bangladeshi shot dead by BSF

RAJSHAHI, Apr 4: A cattle trader was shot dead by the members of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) on Shingnagar border under Shibganj Upazila of Chapainawabganj district early this morning.
The dead was identified as Ruhul Amin (25), son of one Sirajul Islam Faring of Tarapur village of the same upazila.
It is learnt, BSF members of 125 Maldah Battalion, Daulatpur camp in Pashchimbanga frontier area opened fire on Ruhul Amin at around 4:30 am while he along with a group of cattle traders was attempting to cross the border near Shingnagar frontier to bring cattle from India. Ruhul Amin died on the spot while others managed to escape.
