Bangladeshi shot dead in London

An unidentified assailant shot to death a Bangladeshi expatriate in Grimsby area of London on Tuesday. The victim is Maulana Zubayer Hamidi, a former Imam of East London Man Park mosque. London police and witnesses said an unknown assailant opened fire on Zubayer Hamidi, 50, on Tuesday morning when he was walking down the Freeman Street of Grimsby in North East Lincolnshire, leaving him dead on the spot. Hamidi's brother called the local police station. Being informed, police rushed to Freeman Street of Grimsby and found Zubayer Hamidi lying in a pool of blood around 8:00am. The police also picked up Hamidi’s brother for interrogation, according to a news agency.
