Bangladeshi survives 9 days shipped in container

SINGAPORE, Apr 13: A report says a Bangladeshi port worker survived nine days trapped without food or water in a cargo container shipped to Singapore. Another man trapped with him died. The New Paper of Singapore reported Wednesday that Din Islam (30) said he became trapped while resting in the container at Bangladesh's Chittagong port on April 1. Police didn't elaborate on how long the men might have been there. Police said Din was hospitalized in stable condition for dehydration. - AP
