Bangladeshi woman missing in Saudi Arabia

A Bangladeshi female pilgrim has been missing since Thursday’s tragic stampede in Mina outside Mecca in Saudi Arabia. The missing Bangladeshi woman was identified as Noor Jahan. Her Haji number is 0363253. Noor Jahan’s passport number is AG 2056052. According to the passport she is the wife of Shafiq Alam of Char Pagla under Mehendiganj Upazila in Barisal district. When contacted, her family members at her village home said that they could not contact her over phone since Thursday afternoon. She could not be traced till Friday evening by the pilgrims with whom she was staying in Mecca. Contacted, her son Rasel said over mobile phone on Friday afternoon that his mother had been missing in Saudi Arabia for the last 24 hours, according to a news agency.
