Banglalink reaches 15m mark

Banglalink, the country's 2nd largest mobile phone operator, achieved the 15 million mark in terms of subscription, further consolidating its position in the sector, said a press release.
This milestone has been reached after only five years of operations, which provides testimony to the company's rapid expansion. The company grossed the highest net adds in 2009, more than any other operator in the country.
At a press conference held Sunday on this milestone achievement, Banglalink CEO Ahmed Abou Doma announced a special celebratory offer for Banglalink customers ? giving them 15 per cent free airtime and 15 SMS on usage, between 15th to 17th May, 2010.
On the same occasion, Abou Doma also announced the launch of Banglalink Unlimited Postpaid Package. In this first of its kind package in the entire SAARC region, customers can make calls to all networks without bothering about per minute rates.
Banglalink has a network of over 1100 customer service points spread all over the country along with a vigilant team to provide quality and prompt service.
