Banglalink wins four CIPS Asia procurement awards

Banglalink has received four honours at the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) Asia Excellence in Procurement and Supply Awards 2026, recognising its achievements in sustainability, social impact, procurement leadership and risk management.
The awards were presented in Singapore during the CIPS Asia Excellence in Procurement and Supply Awards held from July 7 to 9, where organisations from across the Asia-Pacific region competed.
Banglalink won the Best Initiative to Deliver Social Value through Procurement award for its Procurement Enabling Inclusive Digital Education project and Best Sustainability Project of the Year for its Carbon-Smart Green Microwave Connectivity initiative.
The operator also secured runner-up positions in the Best Approach to Risk Mitigation category for its Radio Access Network (RAN) Transformation project and Procurement Team of the Year. Supply Chain Management Director Ashik Shobhan said the recognition reflected the company's commitment to sustainability, innovation and operational excellence in procurement.
