Bank Asia awarded as Best Blood Donor Organisation

Bangladesh Red Crescent Society awarded Bank Asia as the best blood donor organisation for the year 2010.
State Minister for Health and Family Welfare Dr Mozibur Rahman Fakir, MP handed over the award to President and Managing Director of the bank Erfanuddin Ahmed at a function held at Holy Family Red Crescent Medical College in the city Monday.
Director General of Health Service Dr Shah Monir Hossain was present as the special guest.
Bank Asia, as a part of its corporate social responsibility, organises blood donation programme every year. Last year, the bank had organised separate programmes in Dhaka and Chittagong, where officials of the bank donated 200 bags of blood.
